On September 17, 2022 we visited the Volle Kraft Voraus Festival at the Ratiopharm Arena in Ulm. Since 2018 we visit the festival regularly. Weather for September modest, it rained intermittently and was quite cool. But, after all, the concerts are held in the arena in dry conditions. We visit this festival regularly and it is always the end of the festival summer for us. Unfortunately, the VKV 2023 was moved to the summer and was very difficult for us to organize. We hope they will move it back to September in 2024.
The performance of Erdling was great and they made a good atmosphere. We briefly listened to Maerzfeld, but then decided to take a short break and eat. We met friends from our regular club and talked a lot. With Unzucht we were there again. We could already listen to Unzucht a few weeks before at the Mera and we like them very much. At LOTL (Lord of the Lost) we only listened briefly. It’s not really ours and we saved our energy for Ronan and VNV Nation. After LOTL, Ronan really stepped on the gas and you could feel the desire he had to carry the crowd along. Shortly catching breath then Eisbrecher gave the crowd the rest. We drove back in the night and fell tired but satisfied into bed.
