After a long Corona break finally again a “family reunion” in Leipzig at Pentecost. Full of anticipation Luci prepared and on Friday early on the road in the direction of Leipzig. After a little more than five hours of driving we arrived at our “vacation place”. Here is our little report…
Day 1 started in Clara-Zetkin-Park at the Viktorianischen Picknick. Wonderful to meet so many normal people. Very crowded there, but great and peaceful atmosphere. In the evening listened to the Letzen Instanz. We were very happy to see Solar Fake and danced for two hours with sweat and tears in the full AGRA Halle.
Day 2 Today after a short night and long sleep out continues slightly cloudy. We visited the Pagan Village and discovered there our fondness for cherry beer.
This preference we continued the whole evening incl. headache and aspirin in the morning The concerts of WELLE: ERDBALL and VNV Nation were from weird to emotional and the late evening ended at the AGRA Club in the early morning.
Day 3 of the Wave-Gotik-Treffen and again in the Pagan Village been to get something for Michi’s daughter and my three. Whether we present the gift in the context of our wedding celebration will show the time. Otherwise alternating cloudy with rain in the evening. Shopping in the AGRA been and for me a cool jacket and for Michi new eyes Otherwise cherry beer, many nice and weird people met. Unfortunately, participated in no concert because nothing really appealed to us. Then still been in one of the clubs on the AGRA.
Day 4 and farewell day of the family reunion Wave-Gotik-Treffen after a sunny start some rain. Were at a very interesting contribution of Dr. Mark Benecke then in the Pagan Village to the concert of Patty Gurdy and Tanzwut and finally something in the club of the music listened before we had to end our WGT Pentecost and common vacation.
